Given that we rely sooo much on field position would you like the Jets to get a guy (Buehler?) like the Dallas Cowboys to handle kick-off duties and always kick it for a touchback?

At first when I saw Dallas do it I thought they were the most stupid team in the NFL but after having thought about it I can see why a strong D team might want to do that...

I wouldn't spend a draft pick on it but it wouldn't be that bad to have 2 Ks would it? Plus it would keep Feely fresh for FGs, the guy is 33.

Well, if we release Weatherford and get a strong legged punter maybe he could do it.. (not saying that I want that). That being said it does sound like a decent idea.

I am more concerned about getting a punter that can consistently pin teams back. I get really jealous when I see other teams with punters that can boom 50 yard punts with hang time. Are defense doesn't get enough credit for some of the shitty field position it is left with after a 28 yard punt by Weatherford. Although, to be fare he did get the 50 + yard punt yesterday that led to the INT.
