That pass and that game makes all the Chad haters crazy because they can't explain it, they just have to pretend it never happened. With a torn rotator cuff he throws a perfect 55-60 yard spiral that lands right in Santana Moss' hands for a TD. Brought them down the field in OT for the win, on the road, in the playoffs, vs a good team. All the stuff they said he can't do, there it is on the film. He even sucked in this game, despite hitting the FG in OT. Missed a 33-yarder on the opening drive and one that he made went off the upright first. Didn't exactly inspire confidence, all the more reason Herm should have tried to get as close as possible--instead of backing up--the following week at Pittsburgh. That was a tough, gutty Jet team but I don't think overall as good as this one.
Man that game was great- its too bad injuries ruined Chad's career. His shoulder was on its way to being completely fried in this game so it was probably the closest he was to 100% for the remainder of his career- I don't think he could make throws like that after his surgery. It's too bad Also, watching that game also reminds me why I'm so happy to have Rex Ryan.
