Chargers are actually 8-8 against the spread. I don't take too much stock in betting myself, as the W is all that matters. Not sure, but the day of is when the vast majority of the money is bet, and that's where you'll see the real line movement, if there is any. Line moved over 2 points in the span of three hours.
it should. People who took SD -7 would be taking Jets +9 and it did send the line back down a bit. Usually there are "sharps" waiting for a line to hit a certain number, and then they bet it hard. But the line is basically at its peak again, after coming down to 8.5 [or +9 (-120)] briefly.
