1965 for me. Man, this is a fun time though! And I agree, we are still playing and the Pats arent! Nice!

The fact that this team has (in my opinion) a realistic shot at HOSTING the AFC Championship Game this year is mind-boggling.

I am enjoying the ride for sure. I've ruined my few chances in the past by being too worried the week before the game to actually enjoy the success. Get excited...talk trash...it's all in good fun. I would even give Braylon Edwards a hand this week (eventhough he'd probably drop it.)

I would like to take this opportunity to ask this...does anyone miss that egomaniac overrated douche Brett Favre, who wiped his ass with the Jets last year and took a Super Bowl contender out of the playoffs with his supposed great QB-ing? The Jets are officially free of even thinking of that career choke artist (dont worry- the big loss is coming again....it is inevitable), and a rookie QB and rookie coach did what that blowhard media whore could not do with all of his unimpressive regular season stats...win a playoff game in NY. He could not even make the playoffs here.

1970 here. I've been a diehard since Duhe crushed my dreams in the mud, and sent me to bed crying. lol. The week before was the game when my fave Jet Lance Mehl had two picks against the Raiders...ironically I think we beat the Bengals that year to get in the playoffs.

Truly a great time to be a Jet fan. The promise, and pride we have for our team now is friggin' awesome!!!

How funny is it getting all the texts,e-mails, and voicemails from our friends congratulating us. I even heard from a couple Patsie fans today...let's enjoy this guys and gals, this is why we suffered like we have, so enjoy it it while we can!!

I think it's funny to hear a Jets fan call someone a "blowhard". Althouth he is a fantastic coach, is there a bigger blowhard than Rex Ryan?

A blowhard can't back his big talk up on the field. So far, Rex has delivered almost every promise to us as Jets fans, so he's actually pretty fucking awesome. And guess what? Do you think NY'ers care what some lame ass losers from the stoned coast have to say about our coach? NY'ers embrace loud bombastic personalities, which is a reflection of our city and our culture.

You don't like it? Fuck off and go cry into your fish taco...Paco!

I win so far. 1959. Went to my first game on October 23, 1966 for my 7th birthday. 24-21 loss to Oakland on a late Raider score. I remember the Namath years and SB III very well. I've also had season tickets since 1980. While I agree that anything can happen and that this is fun, I am making sure I am not getting ahead of things here. Let's win Sunday first and then take it a game at a time. The Giants run of 4 straight road playoff wins, including the SB was quite unusual and for the Jets to do the same thing 2 years later . . . . .

I will say that the future does appear very bright for this team - as bright as I can remember.

The only dark cloud I see on the horizon is a lock out in 2011, which is the year I think this team will really hit its stride. Now that would be the Jets' luck, wouldn't it??????
