nice stats, well resarched and informative........ However using my logic you will see why we will win...According to Ron Burgandy, San Diego, (founded by the germans) means a whales vagina, how do you beat a whales vagina? With something i like to call BDS, which simply means: BIG DICK SWAG, and guess what? The jets lead the league in that shit. So, using their big dick swag, the jets will, eh em, beat that whale pussy up...
lol..thanx Steves. I don't sweat it...JETS fans are giddy right now so it comes w/ the territory
all these stats tell us is that the Chargers have a slightly better offense and the Jets have a WAYYY better defense... we all knew that already so its ALL pretty pointless if you ask me....
San Diego (pronounced /ˌs?n diˈeɪgoʊ/), named after Saint Didacus (Spanish: Diego de Alcal?), is the second-largest city in California and the ninth largest city in the United States, located along the Pacific Ocean on the west coast of the United States. San Diego has a population of 1,279,329
greatest avatar ever. are you on cappersmall? Btw, San Diego is the greatest City in the world and I really wish I still lived there
This is going to not only be the toughest challenge of the year but, the best team of the year we are about to face.
I honestly don't know how either fan base can be so incredibly conifdent going into this week. It makes no sense The Jets have the elite defense that has terrorized nearly everyone for 58+ minutes every week. They have the #1 running game in the NFL, which just so happens to be the weakest part of that SD team. They have won 6 of 7, and their biggest weakness (at least perceived anyways) Sanchez has been playing so much better the last 3 weeks, he hasn't even come close to turning over the ball and he has played smart, and hit the throws he has had to hit. San Diego has at absolute worst, the third highest powered offense in the NFL (when everyone is clicking on all cylinders, I still think its NO, SD, then Indy) They are on an 11 game win streak for a reason. The have a million play makers on offense, and are one of the best teams in the league at screens which has the ability to destroy our blitz game. If Stickland plays, that can be slowed down and maybe neutralized, maybe. Can we win? fuck yeah we can! Can we go out and get completely outmatched? yeah its possible Chances are this game is going to be a lot closer than the pundits (and chargers fans) think. I still expect that it comes down to the wire and this time Sanchez is just going to make a rookie mistake that will send us home. I pointed it out in the thread comparing this year to 98 (and 02) that this has all the looks of ending just like 02, with Sanchez finally playing an elite team and pressing just a little too much and causing the season to end. Just as Chad did turning it over 4 times in Oakland all those years ago. I don't think that Sanchez turns it over 4 times on Sunday (SD defense is good but they arent exactly an elite pass d) But if we fall behind early, we are in trouble. Too beat Cincy he had to make 2 throws that he had to have, to beat SD he will have make 5+ elite throws in big spots to win us the game. Can he? Sure he can, Will he? maybe...
Please don't compare the Chargers and Saints. The Saints wheels fell off a month ago... Brees is a front runner, while Rivers is a warrior who gets better as the pressure rises.
I guess I don't understand what you mean when you say brees is a front runner? also I said when all three teams are hitting on all cylinders I think New Orleans is better, yeah you are right they haven't been playing well in a month, but my point is if they play to potential they are the best offense in the game, with you guys a very close second. Even if you disagree with that point, can you not agree that the two fan bases being some grossly overconfident is nuts?
