I want him to have a good game, but I do not want him on the Jets. Suck it up and lose the picks. He doesn't have the hands to be a top WR.

A man with only his pinky and half an index finger on each hand could catch better than that waste of talent.

Keller dropped more passes than Braylon this year, why don't you people crucify him?

Do you only remember Edwards drops because you heard he drops lots of passes?

Umm... No its cuz they watched the games....It doesn't matter how many drops you have, its when those drops happen that matters.

Who cares if it cost us the games, I saw at least 3 - 4 TD drops that better receivers would have caught. That being said I still think that Edwards can outgrow this. I hope.

That's what makes a drop "matter" or not, if it directly cost us anything. A sure TD dropped means more in a loss than in a win.

I still have faith in him. Besides, he could go 8 weeks without a drop and have one go off his fingertips in a meaningless drive and people would still call him "stone hands". It's really nothing more than a reputation.

He always seems to drop the easier ones and make the tough catches in traffic. I still think he's great for our team and for Sanchez even though he can frustrate us.

Edwards is turning into a more athletic version of Anthony Becht.

I guess he's the new scapegoat as Schottenheimer is in the good graces of Jet fans now.

Took the words from my mouth, jil. Unless he's gonna have a big game blocking, I don't expect anything from him other than a broken remote the next time he drops a sure TD pass.

We can't get this guy out of a Jets uniform fast enough.

Not really a scapegoat. After his first game of incredible catches, he has dropped quite a few gimmies, some of which have cost us points. You know you can't give up points that you should of had against the quality of teams we are playing now.

He has to get this fixed fast.

While that may be true, the offense did not cause those losses.
The first miami game, the Jacksonville game and the Atlanta Game, were all lost because our defense could not stop them in the 4th quarter, if I am not mistaken the last possesion of the game for the opposition. The second miami game was lost on special teams. While that statement is true, there is no correlation between big games for B.E. and the losses you refer to. What we need is for Edwards to MAKE THE CATCHES he is capable of making. The dropped pass in the end zoine this week end was unacceptable. The Jets will not be able to leave points on the field like that and beat anyone they face from here on out....

He has dropped some catchable balls(some were not easy even though we think they were) but he's also made a ton of really difficult catches such as the one that the other night that on that big 3rd down that set up our final TD.

what is magnifying edwards difficulties is that we have an offense that runs 2/3rds of the time......

if sanchez was throwing 40 shots a game - we could all live with a 1-2 drops to go along with 6 catches per.

it underscores that the jets still need to upgrade the WR position as sanchez matures into a passer as well as a QB

"Makes incredible circus catches, yet drops wide open lobs and passes that hit him in the numbers"

Why does this remind me of Justin McCareins?

We need to upgrade at WR but not our starting WRs. We have a really good duo but we need more depth. Braylon is going to be huge for us.

Edwards is actually dropping fewer passes than he did earlier in his career, and this year I believe Keller has actually dropped more than BE.

Seems like some players just end up around here as whipping boys.

I think with Braylon, it's just that he dropped such big TD passes.

3 huge ones this year, 2 against Cincy and trying to head butt one against the Bills.

Seems on the deep passes he doesn't pick up the ball. Hit in the Head against Buffalo, Missed judged the leap against the Bengals at the Meadowlands and it drops through the bread basket this last game. I wonder if he needs glasses? Maybe a trip to Pearl Vision will fix his woes. Just a thought...
