I know it's unlikely but if we notch the 5th seed and win through to the AFC Championship game and the 6th seed does the same, then I assume it's technically possible for there to be one additional game at the current stadium. Is this correct? Had a few wild card teams making Superbowls/Championship games in recent times, so while the chance is comfortably under 5%, I'm guessing demolition of this stadium won't happen until the Jets are done for the season (please Lord, let it not be tonight!!!) .
Lets assume the Ravens and Jets make the playoffs. The Jets will have to beat the Bengals and then the Chargers. The Ravens will have to beat the Patriots and then the Colts. If all that happens, the Jets will host the AFC Championship at Giants Stadium.
Well, duh, all 4 seeds host games... But it can be done. Probably won't be, but it would be damn cool, wouldn't it?
i honestly don't think he would have to lol....i'm already trying to get my hands on potential tickets
thats right - we will know before sundays game if there is a shot..... man - pharmaceutical sales are gonna go thru the roof around here if that happens. jil
That would be a shit-talking festival if the Ravens met the Jets at the Meadowlands. It'll never happen, but fun to think about it.
i don't know that its too crazy to say it'll never happen...it very well could...the ravens are getting the colts at the right time and we match up well against SD...only time will tell
The jets have sent invoices to season ticket holders today thru emails..for the afc championship game
Well I haven't gotten shit. I haven't re-upped for next year and it would be BS not to consider this years ST Holders as the general public.
