My own feelings are that Mangold will win it but with Teagues experience and Missant having a solid campaign in the NFLe it could make for a good competition.

If Mangold isnt going to start, it may have been a wasted pick. We have other holes to fill, we could have chosen another position...... especially if Teague wins the spot easily.

I don't see any reason Mangold will not start unless he has a terrible training camp. I mean we're talking about the likes of Teague and Missant as the alternatives, and no way do you move Kendall over from Guard.

i've said it once and i'll say it again.

no team should ever draft a center in the 1st round to sit on the bench, especially in a rebuilding year.

That was almost witty, but you got a couple of words backwards. You could dial down the attitude a notch, too.

BTW, I think it's Teague on opening day and Mangold in Game 6.

    I don't know.

Titus Adams looks like a young cat that can straight up ball.

    He's a diaper dandy.

Teague will most likely get the call. Mangold will be starting by the end of the year. BRICK-KENDALL-TEAGUE-MOORE-?

If Teague starts, why didn't we draft another position player who could have filed in as a starter in the first round?

We had a potential future QB sitting there with TWO first round picks (IN A REBUILDING YEAR) and we,re gonna use one of them as a project?

Let the freaking rookies play ...see what we have and advance next year!

Rookies don't just come in "NFL Ready" They have to learn the ropes and depending on the position, few of them are ready by game 1.
We drafted Mangold Now because he will be a solid Center and we don't have to worry about that position for a few years.

Just because you draft a player doesn't mean you throw him to the fire.
This isn't madden where Ratings go up because they played.
