It's 1:00 on Friday. I just heard on the raidio that the Jets are leaving Newark Airport right now by a reporter that was with them at the airport. Then they get back to the radio show and Jay Feely is on the air and they said he'll be on as a guest for the next hour and that Thomas Jones would be on in an hour as well. Then I change to WFAN and Dustin Keller is on the air?
It's the Jets decoy squad taking off to try to lure the media away from the team until they are safely tucked in their hotel tonight.
^Yeah, and the decoy squad is giving interviews lol. Obviously, the first reporter was wrong unless the interviews are not live.

Definitely live interviews. What I was getting at is whether there is a way to broadcast from a plane? I don't think there is.
they are just calling the radio station from the plane and are on the air they don't have to have any broadcasting equipment exactly how joe from staten island can call the FAN and get on the air

Jay Feely is in the studio with Seth Everett, he is actually co-hosting the show, he isn't on the phone. Also, I don't think cell phones work well at 40,000 feet above ground level and cell phones are usually banned on planes because they can interfere with their navigation systems. I'm not implying some ridiculous conspiracy theory I'm just wondering if they mis-reported when the team was leaving or if maybe the entire team wasn't travelling together (which I believe they usually do).
or maybe the radio station is just saying he's in the studio and he isn't... the planes have phones built into them.... i don't care where he is as long as he's kicking tomorrow lol
