New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has played the last several games with three broken ribs, CBS Sports reported Sunday.

The Patriots had added ribs to the injury report for Brady the week after he took a big hit against the Dolphins in Week 13 and briefly left the field to go to the locker room. He didn't miss any plays in the game.

Despite the report, a Patriots spokesman said he was not aware of Brady having broken ribs, according to The Associated Press.

Brady started Sunday in the regular-season finale at Houston, going 10 for 14 for 135 yards. He was lifted for backup Brian Hoyer in the second quarter with the Patriots assured of home-field advantage in the first round of the playoffs.

Brady, who this week was selected to his fifth Pro Bowl, returned this season after tearing two knee ligaments in last season's opener.

He passed for 4,347 yards with 28 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while starting all 16 games.

Brady isn't hurt. If he was, he wouldn't be playing today.

He's not playing anymore. It's Hoyer in there now. It will be nice to watch him get blown up by the Ravens D next week though. With no dump off to Welker an option and no serious run game he's a sitting duck.

just because one plays doesn't mean they aren't hurt....
    example Brett Favre in 2008

You sure Brady didn't have that surgery that young Thai kids get to look like a woman? My guess is Brady is preparing for later in life as a Male prostitute.

He probably picked up these broken ribs in week 2 against the crazed JET defence
I loved it when Jenkins hammered him to the ground (legit) and he was begging for a flag.

BTW too bad so sad about Welker…I would prefer if he was plastered by a linebacker instead of the no contact injury.
I’m a classless POS when it comes to our former OC and his Patsies

He took a pretty good shot to the ribs on the 4th quarter INT he threw today. He didn't go back in after that.

Now all we need is moss to get in a car accident this week and the trifecta is complete.

The ravens couldn't contain the Raiders today! No way they beat the pats at home. After that, it would take some serious mojo to beat SD or Indy though...

It is already complete, with teams focusing on Moss with no Welker, Randy will just quit on every play.
