I might get ripped for this, but whatever.. Does anyone feel that Kerry Rhodes might have a big week this week against Cincinnati? I might be feeling the effects from New Years still, but man, I have a great feeling that Rhodes will be big this week.
Get ready to be killed....just kidding. I know feelings dictate a lot of our opinions on the Jets, but you have to look at the season as your measuring stick for this team not just KR. In my opinion he has played very soft with the exception of a couple of games, so my answer based on his seasonal performance is no he will not have a big game against the Bengals.
I hope he has a great game. As much as I've disliked him recently I want him to do well as long as he's on the team
Yeah I thought everyone knew..... Coach Ryan offered to get Kerry Rhodes a Dancing with the Stars gig if he gets 2 interceptions. Done deal if you ask me. Edit: No you are not crazy.
With the potential this guy has it's hard not to believe he can make some significant contributions for our defense. I think with the importance of this game if he doesn't come up big then he's got to be out of here. Big time players come up big in bigtime situations. It doesn't get any bigger then the games we play from here on out.
Please watch the replay of the Colts game. I didn't keep stats, but he ****ed out on a number of chances to make big hits. I mean really ****ed out. Seriously, has any other Jets player's stock dropped so dramatically as his has? I hope we trade him for a decent pick this offseason...
rhodes is still a part of this team so i will be rooting for him, but the only impact he may have is getting a pick. he has shown he has no desire to make an impact tackle and i doubt that changes this week.
No you are not crazy... However, I'd question your sanity if you felt that Veronica Gholston would have a big week... I highly doubt that bitch even makes the field...
Not to derail the thread or anything, but I was watching that show on NFL Network, the one where they mic up players. And I look at a player like Vilma and all I see from him is hustle. And that really seems to be lacking in Gholston. I have seen maybe one play that had a remote sense of urgency to it...
Bang on MDGreen I hope Rhodes lights it up from here on out.....it will only increase his trade value Saw his play in Toronto....he actually AVOIDED contact with the running back near our 20. While the Rex mentality stresses violent cotact. I don't see how he stays in an uncapped year.
