OMG!!! Are you even listening! HE WAS OFFERED THE CONTRACT FIRST!!! Ellis and Abe were both in contract years. Your beloved FO, half now in KC, offered Abe the contract FIRST, Ellis was not even involved yet. Ellis was only offered the contract AFTERWARDS. Therefore, being paid more than Ellis had NOTHING to do with it, since Ellis was not involved when Abe was offered the contract. How dense can you be?
Careful dabrowski. #1JF may next say that Bill Parcells recommended offering Abe more money than Ellis.
Well, you should go back and look because then you will see how wrong you really are bozo...Abe is a better pass rusher...Ellis is better against the run...but when Abe was out for an extended period of time, I believe that's when Ellis got his double digit sack total...
now try to correct my spelling since you was just proven wrong about BP recommending Herm for the job. I forgot about more then you know about the Jets.
How was I proven wrong? Where are the facts or articles that support your view? That is an easy answer. There is none because it never happened. You just made up something and believe it to be true.
I thought it was funny he kept saying no knew any about the Jets, but he didn't even know the timetable of the Abe and Ellis contract offerings. Which by the way was plastered all over the papers for what, 4-6 months? Wow.
