Lol....thanks mb...but as far as Im concerned...I get future weather updates from living on weather forums and reading models "along with the pros"...but yes...I do the time there so I will take that compliment. The week ahead could be interesting with a potential storm for new years eve...new years day. Some models have the storm a bit closer to the coast which would give us, metro ny, more of a mix then all snow. Now some models have the storm arriving a day later...and then stalling near cape cod with wrap around on and off snow all the way down here through the weekend. Will keep you updated if it has anything to do with the Jet game.
If everything goes the way most models say it will...one thing is certain...it is going to be one friggin cold night at the meadowlands..with game time temps in the low to mid 20's and perhaps in the teens by the time the game ends. I wouldnt read too much into any mention of snow. Thats popping up because the storm we might get on Thursday night/Friday is supposed to linger of the coast of Maine for a few days and throw back on and off snow showers..that rarely get this far down the coast. IT WILL BE VERY COLD. Heres the actual forecast for our area from the NWS: Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 30. Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 18.
how does the wind go from 36 mph to 11 at nite??? that is the real problem the wind and trying to keep the shelter secure
A ball control offense that passes three times in a row inside our own 10 yard line, runs a reverse, and passes on 3rd and short. Schottenheimer is still clueless. It's cold in Cincinnati too. The Bungles are used to cold weather.
Wow...double reverse has worked just fine with Brad Smith. People just bitch too much about Schotty. Schotty is a young OC and seems to be learning every day. Some (or most) of the fans here hate him for his cutesy play calling but would totally ignore the same calls that gain significant yards. Its just ridiculous. The grass is always greener on the other side.
How often do you see a pass on first down? If it falls incomplete, then you have 2nd and 10. Majority of the calls would pass on 2nd and 10. When you are 3rd and 10, you won't see many run calls. Its not Schottys fault the offense can't execute it. Sure he can run the ball, first down is where you would ideally like to get a chunk of the 10 yards. Reverses were working fine before, just one failed reverse in recent times that I can remember. Pass on third and short was kind of dumb I agree, but he's just trying to catch the other team off guard. A PA pass would have been a good idea. Problem with Schotty is, he isn't treating the rookie like a rookie. He should get better as Sanchez gains some experience.
Shitty today, I was coming into work for a few hours and then leabing. Now it looks like I'l be trapped here, my car is not meant for this weather. RWD
The double reverse was a bad call, but I can't crucify the guy for the whole game. Largely, he got the game plan for the whole game right. We did win.
Rockland County- My car is a summer driver that I've been too lazy to put away yet. Even in one inch and I'm damned.
We're getting hit hard here in Western Mass. About 3 inches at my house the wifey says but that's a dusting for us.
It's a SRT-6 Crossfire, the thing is a nightmare in the snow. The 380 HP AMG engine isn't so bad though, lol
