kinda sad how know one knows about david harris brian cushing is in the league one year and he's well known
Cushing was a bigger name coming out of college and wasn't overshadowed by Patrick Willis in his rookie year.
Ray Lewis is a HoF, so it's not a surprise that he made it, but I stopped caring when I saw that Harris didn't make it.
Actually, looking at it fairly, Jets did ok. 3 starters, not bad. I knew Harris wasn't making it, he's good but that's a tough position to make it from. I remember for years Lance Mehl would get slighted, only made on pro bowl in his career and he was awesome a long time. Brick is gonna feel slighted but Jets got 2 from the OL in and Jones to me is the 1 Jet who didn't make it that probably should of.
Indeed. The extra insult being that the other 3 AFC North teams had MULTIPLE players in, even Cleveland! All in all, I like how we ended up. Faneca was a joke selection, , but after seeing the selected ILB/MLBs and RBs I can't say our guys got "jobbed" in that area, none of the folks selected to those positions seem to be "bad" picks
Jones, DBrick and Scott are First Alternates, Harris and Ellis Second Alternates so more Jets will probably end up in it. Remember the teams in the Super Bowl obviously don't get there players in the game this season.
Just win Sunday, who cares about the Pro Bowl. Do any of these players have contracts that give you Money if they make it. People get so upset about these things, its a popularity contest. Just win baby

Ray Rice deserved it. He's averaging damn near a yard more than Jones per carry and putting up some damn good numbers considering the Ravens split their carries a lot more evenly between three backs than the Jets do between two.
Hey don't forget his receiving numbers......................LMAO why you even arguing with that knuckehead? Thomas Jones is very good but Ray Rice is well above.
This is what I expected, D'Brick is a Pro-Bowl caliber player but his position is loaded in the AFC, same with Jones. Jenkins would've been there too. Harris just isn't well known enough yet, he will be soon. ...I like how Randy Moss didn't make it though.
We've got more names in there, but as alternates: http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/articles/show/3529-revis-faneca-mangold-chosen-for-pro-bowl Edit: I just saw #28Martin posted this info already, so all I add to the discussion is a link
