I noticed on the sideline yesterday he had a VERY toned down demeanor......very unemotional and clear thinking......i think it had an effect on the team
I noticed a slight weight loss too, maybe 10-15 pounds. He looked pretty light on his feet yesterday.
Not that I'm complaining, but how could you not be modest when you won because the other team gave you the game.
the anxiety after blowing that game to atlanta probably gave him an ulcer. i think it gave me one too.
Yeah, I agree the tone he had was the right one. He basically just said they would play whoever was on the field.
what if Painter had come in and the Jets lost? What if the kid lit them up like Brett Farve when he entered his first game in Green Bay? The kid is on an NFL roster for a reason...maybe he wasn't ready for the Jets D, but the Jets still had to execute and score points to win the game. They did what they had to do. Every week anyone in this league can surprise you - Tampa beating NO, Cleveland beating Pitt, Oakland beating up on Denver and Phili - I don't care who is on the field you still have to go and make enough plays to win the game. They did that yesterday and even when Manning was playing it was only 15-10. Should Ryan say he is sorry to the league and the fans because they were able to execute plays against another NFL team?
Praise goes to the Jets for keeping it so close anyway. 9 points at the half 15 points with 5 minutes left in the 3rd. Many other teams would've been down 21-0 or something like that at that point. if we didn't keep it close we would've had a tough time anyway.
 i actually said that i thought he lost weight last week when i was watching the game with my father. we both settled on him taking a big pregame dump and not eating breakfast. you know rex eats a 15 lb breakfast
I think he realized that they are not officially IN the playoffs until they win next week, when they win next week I think you will see him back to his old self.
