I know this is way premature but I'm curious. IF we were to win next week, who would everyone rather play in the wildcard game? I personally want the Pats. Outside of going to the Superbowl, there's nothing that would be more gratifying than eliminating the Pats from the playoffs.
Preferred matchup would be the Rams or the Lions but I'll take the Bengals if that's all that's available.
Be careful what you wish for guys. When this is said and done, We beat the Pats once this year and know what it takes. We've also won up there twice in the last 3 years. The Bengals will not show anything this week and will be a whole different team in their house if it comes to that matchup. Do I fear them? NO, I fear no team. Especially w/ the way our JETS have played almost every team this year. We are Built for the Playoffs. Solid D and a running game.
What's wrong with asking who you'd rather play? Everything is going to be in place before we play our game and have the opportunity to clinch a spot, so it's worth thinking about at least. Not that we'll have any choice though.

I disagree......sorry man. my focus is on the game at hand.....once we earn that "W"....then I can talk about playoff opponents till i'm blue in the face.
Sorry to ruin your day but I'm a Jets fan in Chicago I have no other place to prematurely ejaculate over my Jets but here on these boards. Everyone here are Bears fans and my wife could careless:sad: Just something I was thinking about and wanted to know how other Jets fans would answer.
The "gratifying" feeling goes out the window when it comes to the playoffs. It'd be nice to beat the Patriots, sure, but it's a much easier task for the Jets to beat the Bengals than it is NE, and in the playoffs, you want the better matchup.
no offense, dude....but i live in Winnipeg, MB....I think I'm the only Jets fan within a 500 mile radius of where I live (WolfeTone lives in Saskatchewan).... and i don't mean to piss on your enthusiasm.....because I would like to share in it.....i just want the Jets to clinch the playoff spot first before everybody gets their hopes smashed to smithereens.
pffft; i'm a jets fan in new england. beat that. my wife could care less AND i just lost my 5 year old daughter to the patriots b/c of all the pressure in her kindergarten class. i even got her a welker jersey for xmas (saddest xmas ever).
