Have to say I much rather prefer the white helmets we have now over the green ones. I was never really a fan of the green unis.
I never even understood why they didn't do white one's then? What was the point of the green helmets? Especially in 94 when it was the throwback year. Never made sense to me
Almost...you just took the file that you have it saved as from your computer. You can't do that, but luckily there are ways to upload a picture to a website and use the link they give you. You should go to Yahoo or google type in Joe Namath - go to images - click on the picture until it comes up - copy the link - then paste it into those tags.
Yeah the green helmets don't make sense, especially if it's a throwback game. Ithink the green helmets look good, pretty good for an alternate uni with the all green.
They also wore them against the Pats at home and the Sunday night game against the Bears when J.Johnson ran 90yds and did not score. 1994 season
It could get confusing playing in green helmets one week then white the next. If we used the hunetr green we have now the old uni's would look alot better. The kelly green was too light.
what kind of morons did we have on our team in 1994? The Chargers played in their white helmets during the throwback games and their dark blue helmets during the non throwback games. Denver used orange helmets then went back to their blue ones same with the Cowboys and the Houston Oilers
I'm just giving a possible explanation. Judging by the results in thsoe years i'd say we had alot of morons:smile:
'92 I can gove a pass on since we had so many crippling injuries, 2 career enders, a 1st yr starter at QB, etc... but in '93 and '94 we had mroe than enough talent to make a playoff run in a weak AFC and we blew it each time in December. Frustrating times which is part of the reason why I defended the last regime so much b/c they at least had us in contention which si somnething I have rarely seen in the almsot 25 years I've been watching this team.
