While I dont like that Sanchez threw the ball 32 times and I am a huge supporter of the run I did notice some things today that I bet even my 2 year old nephew saw. Every time we ran the ball (aside from 3-4 plays) we used the "heavy" package. Who the fuck didnt know we were running the ball when we had 7 linemen, a TE and Edwards in the game. Aside from the one time Sanchez threw the ball out of the package (to Wayne Hunter) we ran the ball. I just dont understand this. Know if TJ or Greene breaks into the 3rd level then most likley he is gonel but a 3.6 YPC average is crazy. Spread it out a little. Dont tell the D what you are going to do before you do it or.....you make a BAD D like ATL look good. Keep them off balance, mix in the playaction, draws and screens, power I, strong, 3 wides are all great ways to run the ball without saying "We are running please put 9 in the box". Better yet Schotty aka SHITTY do your job.

Signed a fan that is sick of your shit.

this is the issue....we should have been able to run on them with just or 5 linemen a TR at hback....6 on 7 is better than 8 on 9 in that space...

I COMPLETELY agree...I was sitting with my friend was 95% right calling whether we were going to run or pass. One of the two plays I missed was the huge pass to Braylon. Its seriously pathetic..

    We're showcasing our defense.

But thats the problem with Schotty.

If its not the 7 OL formation, its shotgun spread wide. There aren't many plays where the defense has to guess is it run or pass. Its stupid and awful.

it really doesn't matter if the opposing D knows run vs pass. if the play is executed properly you are going to have better than 2.6 ypc.

it has nothing to do with execution. If the D knows what you are going to do and the EXECUTE there D; well its a moot point then. But if they are unsure of what the O is doing based on personel packages and not showing your hand then this becomes more than execution. Wew need all the help in the world to win, schotty is just outthinking it.

I think some of it had to do with the fact Mangold and Faneca weren't 100%

They are a big part of our running game.
