It's not really Rex.. The medical staff cleared him to play... It's not like Rex Ryan evaluated the knee himself, the medical staff did and they felt good about him playing. So I wouldn't be concerned.
Sounds like they're taking the diapers off Sanchez finally. If BabyBoy does well tomorrow that would be great in that another hurdle, that would be playing outdoors in cold weather, will be dealt with. Who knows, they might just give SoCal some thermal undies.
Maybe they'll bring the baby wipe warmer for when they are changing his poopy diapers on the sideline.
The only mistake Ryan will make Sunday is if he throws in Revis' direction. That would be a huge mistake. But I doubt "Ryan" will even play.
Sanchez is single-handedly (armedly) responsible for losing crucial games. I like Sanchez and don't doubt he's the future, but we have the top defense in the league and the top running game and the...30th ranked passing offense. Part of the blame falls on the coaching staff for not reining Sanchez in sooner, but nevertheless, KC is a better game manager and less of a liability. If we go anywhere this year, it's gonna be on the strength of the running game and D. I'd be more comfortable if they put a QB back there who is slightly less likely to poop in the bed.
No INTs...Converted on some key 3rd downs...Didn't lose any fumbles. That's all he needs to do. Did I mention no INTs?
That's okay, if he has a career ending injury, we will just trade up next year draft Claussen and give BS another shot at developing a QB.
There is no reason to start Clemens if Sanchez is able to go. The team would not benefit from it at all.
I guess making me less nervous isn't a good enough reason. Well, bring on the wunderkind and bring on the turnovers.
Probably had something to do with the fact that they called the second most conservative offense of any game this season and showed zero trust in Clemens. Did you count how many deep passes they gave him the OK to throw against the Bucs? It wasn't many. You will notice that, while Sanchez did not light the world on fire against the Panthers and Bills, he didn't throw the game away either. They weren't showing much trust in Sanchez before he hurt himself, but they showed comparatively less in Clemens when you look at the overall offensive gameplan.
I don't want to see any deep passes by any Jets QB; be it Sanchez or KC. Right now this team doesn't need QB who makes things happen, this team needs a game manager who doesn't turn the ball over. It just seems that KC is less likely to foolishly try to make something out of nothing and end up throwing a pick or go scrambling around while carrying the ball like 40oz until it gets stripped.
Fuck that, man. We didn't trade up to the 5th overall pick to not throw the ball. We drafted a passer, not a game manager. They are reining it in until things start to become routine for him, and then start opening things back up again, hopefully after not too long a time. This team's model is for balanced offense and defense. And that includes a potent passing game when needed.
What the fuck is it with you guys. If a player gets called for a penalty once, then he does it all the time. If someone drops a ball then he has butterfingers. If we lose a game our season is over. Sanchez had a couple of bad games yet you all think he has been awful the whole season, he has had more great games then bad ones, he is a rookie and has showed improvement over his last few, let the guy fucking play he is our present and future.
