I would vote Thomas Jones since our offense has gone through him.

but its hard to say exactly how good our defense would be without Revis. alot of our blitz packages would be rendered useless and we might have been blown out a couple games without him.

that being said Jones HAS to be a very close second, hes dependable and without him our offense would be complete shit being that aside from being charming and throwing some nice long balls Sanchez hasnt done a WHOLE lot.

    1 vote for Revis

Revis is the best player on the team, but you have to give it to Jones or he gets all pissy

Revis is the obvious choice. I will point out that without Shaun Ellis there's no way this team is playing the kind of defense they are at the moment. He's quietly turning in a great season for a 3-4 end.

I too voted for Revis but your right Ellis has stepped big time since Jenkins went on IR. He to me is 2nd.

Just like he did last year...he's quietly one of the top 3-4 ends in the league

He's leading the NFL in sacks by a 3-4 DE and the other guys challenging him all play RDE. He's doing it on the strongside with a TE chipping him.

Ellis has had an awesome year for us. He's come up with big plays over and over again.

Totally agree with you. Ellis is overshadowed by Revis an Scott but the guy is having probably the best year of his career.

Defensively the top three in order are Revis, Ellis, Harris.

Offensively the top three in order are Jones, Mangold, Edwards.

People will beat me to hell for putting edwards there, but it is no coincidence that he shows up and instantly our run game explodes and becomes first in the NFL. He also has made some circus grabs for us. Yeah he drops some balls, but he opens up the coverage and he blocks his butt off here in NY for Jones and Greene. Edwards has been great for us this year.

Revis by a huge margin, I'd imagine our defense would be completely different if we had to continually roll coverage to stop their #1 WR.

Jones is boosted by the play of the OLine. Ellis is boosted by the overall play of the defense.

Revis is single-handedly shutting down the best receivers in the game. No one even remotely comes close to Revis. And he's still got Wayne and Ochocinco left on the schedule.

The MVP should go to the guy who is the most irreplaceable person on the team. Clearly that is Revis.
