Was Revis playing injured yesterday?

Not that I want to jinx him, far from it, but about halfway through the game I saw Revis favoring his left arm in between snaps. It didn't appear to affect the way he was playing during the action, but whenever he would get up from making a tackle, he'd use his right arm only and he's cradle his left arm against his body.

Hopefully it's just something minor, I just don't like the idea of this guy getting hurt, like, ever.

I'm sure when he plugged in last night the nanobots repaired any damage.

I noticed him get up slowly at one point and talking to someone (I'm guessing trainer) while sitting on the bench immediately afterward. I was hoping they would shut him down for the game because it was pretty much over at that point.

I thought that on the play where Revis made a tackle and then Bart Scott slammed into both Revis and the opposing player, that Revis got up slowly and looked shaken. When he went to the sidelines after that drive he sat on the bench and somebody was looking over him with a little concern.

I think he was definitely banged up a bit and my heart was in my mouth thinking he might have broken an arm.

I have to say..generally speaking I hate drafting corners high, or overpaying for their services...But Revis is incredible.

That said...There aren't many in the game worth what they make besides Revis and Nnamdi..

there were a couple plays where he got sandwhiched inbetween a few jets.

prolly just had a bad stinger which can easily last for a half of a pro game.

    har de har har.

im saying the level of competition and the intensity would make keeping contact away from his arm after it got smashed up is close to impossible.

Here is the sequence. I actually misremembered - Scott didn't hit Revis. Revis hit Gilmore of the Bucs with his left arm, then Scott finished him off. As you can see, Revis sat on the turf kind of looking at his left forearm after the play.

After shrugging off this fracture, Revis then broke up the next pass play before jogging to the sidelines, where a member of the Jets staff looked at him in concern. Revis probably told him to have more faith and showed him the now miraculously healed arm.

I didn't notice Revis favoring anything, but something didn't look right with Cotchery. I thought something was clearly bothering him

I bet we would have heard if it was a problem, plus the man still made like 3 great pass defenses even playing hurt (if he indeed was).

More likely he got a stinger.
