A lot of people are saying that our Week 16 matchup vs the Colts may be easier cause the Colts will have home field clinched and will rest their starters. However, wouldn't they try to go for the perfect season? I doubt they'd pass up on the opportunity to go for a perfect year.

They claim that regardless if they are undefeated they'll rest their starters.

So don't they start resting this week vs the Jaguars?

Yup. And we better hope they're undefeated when we play them, because we need them to beat Jacksonville next week.

I don't buy that, and I'd like to see another team beat them so we'd have a blueprint to work off of.

Of course, it would be nice for the Jets to be the team that knocks them off.

The Patriots had that blueprint but unfortunately somebody forgot to pack the film for the last half of the 4th quarter.

I can definitely see them trying to beat Jacksonville this week just because it is a divisional game, but other than that, we might need Jim Sorgi to toss a couple of TD passes.

This news might be good for the Jets but it pretty much just killed my chances of winning in fantasy football with wayne and addai as key starters on my team.

I think their backup qb is something called Curtis Painter.

I see us beating the Colts with or without Manning. We always do well against the Colts and we matchup against them from top to bottom.

As fair as I'm concerned, as long as Peyton plays, the Colts will have a chance.

You landed on this planet when? The colts under Polian have been in the same situation atleast 2 other times and throttled back. Bill Polian has stated severall times in the last few weeks they would throttle back.
Wow another great post is allowed because its not same as others. Is this not a trend hear all the new posts are not great because being unique is not always better

Blue Print LOL. There a one man team. Everybody this side of Mars knows you need to stop manning to beat Indy, thats the blueprint. They are a 500 talent team with the greatest QB of all time.

their defense is playing pretty well. Better than it played under Dungy.

I don't really think it is all Manning now adays. Their defense has been playing very stout as of late, well all year really, so I don't believe that is a fair conclusion to make. I think our defense matches up well against their offense, but I don't think our offense matches up very well against their defense. It would be an interesting match up if the Colts were to play their starters.

I really don't think they'll play their starters. They are focused on the prize, which is a championship. NO is a different story. THey will do everything they can to go undefeated.

I don't believe their fans will allow them to pull that shit again. It would be an abomination.

umm, right. Since when do fans play a role in to who plays and who rests? Knowledgeable fans can understand the point. Others don't matter.
