i guess in retrospect i should have put dislike in the thread title hate is a strong word. also youve prob been asked this a million times but i need to know whos ass that is.
I had to go with Rhodes. His play has fallen off greatly and he looks like he is playing with no heart. This is distrubing because we all know he can be really good; we've seen it. Gholston was close, but I don't hate him; the guy just can't play fast enough and is not a tackling machine or a ball hawk; he is pine material and we may get lucky and get a 6th rouder for him if we don't end up cutting him first.
I picked Schotty, I understand Rhodes is having a down year but I dont think he has reached the hatted point yet
1) The Ghost 2) Kerry Rhodes (just because of this year). 3) Bryan Thomas (every year except the year he did well - coincidently, his contract year.........not to mention the Ed Reed draft day thing).
gholston....a total waste. Plus he doesnt seem to have any drive nor does he seem to give a shit. Clemens...granted he sucks but you cant hate him. He is a stand up guy who keeps his mouth shut and is "team first" very rare now a days. Rhodes...what the fuck happened to him? Got the money...lost the focus. See ya asshole!! i cannot stand dustin keller, he is so inconsistent it is not even funny. of course kerry rhodes is my least favorite for all the talk he does.
Definitely Carrie. Clemens I can respect, I don't like Schotty but at least the guy makes an effort, and Gholston - is just a massive disappointment. Carrie Rhodes is a jackass.
Rhodes runs away with this award. Gholston needs to be on a 4-3 team to be effective, and even then the best he'll ever be is slightly above average (unless he develops some moves). Having Pace and Thomas in front of him doesn't help. Doesn't hold a candle to Rhodes' douchebaggery. Clemens is a backup qb. What is there to hate about him? How he played poorly after not playing football for 2 years? There's no reason to hate the guy, even if we lose on Sunday. I never, for the life of me, will understand the Schotty hate on this board. I've said it before, and I'll repeat it for the 26 idiots who voted for Schotty. He had 4 different qb's in 4 years. Penny had 2 shoulder surgeries. Clemens is a backup. Farve joined the team during preseason and was underprepared. He didn't want to play for NY anyways. Sanchez is a rookie. 2006 was a decent offensive team with no talent. 2008 was a good offensive team until Farve tore his bicep. We have the #1 rushing attack this year while running a conservative offense to benefit our rookie. Yet, Schotty is somehow a "cutesy" overthinker, who thinks he's smarter than everyone in the league? Because he runs 4-5 trick plays a game? (The majority of which have worked; not to mention that most teams run the same amount of trick plays as we do) This makes absolutely no sense. He's just the scapegoat that fans need because we're not winning the superbowl this year. Next year, Pettine is gone. In 2011, Rex is gone. In 2012 Sanchez is gone and we start all over again. Anyways, Rhodes is turning out to be a legitimate cancer to this team. He runs his mouth when he's consistently been horrible. He got trucked by Welker when Welker wasn't even trying to truck him. Rhodes should be running away with the vote.
Rhodes. Guy can go fucking sell Pimp suites in San Antonio Texas for the UFL Team. What a complete disapointment! Got his Money, got a Big Fucking Head, and Got Lazy as a box of cinder blocks. Of course he will be a damn star on the Pats next year! Sigh...
We have a mixed scheme. He also played a lot as a 3-4 lineman too. When he played, he actually did what he was supposed to do. The only problem is that his job can be done by plenty of other players who are cheaper, and Gholston never stood out and did something extra when he was asked to rush the passer. It also doesn't help that Pace is playing well, and Bryan Thomas has been good at stopping the run. If there really is an uncapped year and Gholston gets cut, I think a team like the Titans or the Eagles will pick him up for cheap. And he might actually get a sack or two.
