As a good as Harris is, he isn't even close to being as good a linebacker as Revis is a cornerback.

    Right now, at least.

Maybe not astounding but I agree Scott has been really really good.he does the dirty work and may be the best LB at taking on blocks in the league.

Cut Gholston, resign those two to big deals.

they have the character to handle that money and still be the best.

the 2007 draft netted us revis, harris, thomas jones and approximately 1/3 of braylon edwards. some have blamed tanny in recent weeks, but i think the man has done a hell of a job outside of the gholston pick!

..and whiffs on 9 out of every 10 tackles. I like Scott.. I think he's good and he brings a lot to the team, but he hasn't been outstanding.

and every report in the world has said mangini pulled a Stalin in the draft room and overruled the scouts and demanded that Tanny take Gholston.

So lets all blame Gholston on Mangini and not Tanny.

^ So Tanny let Mangini walk all over him? That's even worse. Gholston might have been Mangini's pick but they both have to take the blame for it

I don't think its a matter of Mangini making Tanny shrink in his chair. This isn't a movie. The scouts wanted McKelvin, Mangini wanted Gholston. He got his say. Tanny and Mangini are friends. That probably was the deciding factor.

If you're going to blame Mangini for picking Gholston you might as well credit Mangini for picking Leon, Mangold, Revis, and Harris.

I realize everyone hates Mangini's soul; but he had good drafts while he was here.

It's the fact he pulled a power play to get Gholston. The draft is a team effort between the scouts, the coaches and GM. The fact that Mangini allegedly put his foot down and made a gigantic power play, puts it on his head. That is of course, if that was the case...... Knowing and hearing what a fucking douche he has been to Kokinos and how he has ran the Browns, it doesn't look like too much of a stretch.
