I could agree with those rankings...

There have been some good points made on here to have TJ edge out Benson...

What games? He had a rough day in Atlanta week 1 for sure. But since then he hasnt had a pass rusher give him problems?

I'll agree with you that he isnt the prettiest pass blocker. Definitely not a ballerina out there. But he blocks pass rushers with power and physical domination, rather than quick feet. Again, it aint the prettiest... but its damn effective. The results speak for themselves...

Also, Jake Long has allowed less QB pressures and QB hits than Ryan Clady, Joe Thomas, and Michael Roos this season...

Wait, we forgot about Ray Rice. He's gotta be top 5 and idk, he's potentially better than Jones and Benson as well, considering he's going to have about 80 catches this year.

Wow, great point about Rice. Forgot about him. Averaging 4.9ypc too... along with 6 TDs even though his goalline opportunities get vultured...

He gave up sacks in the following games I watched........

    Indy
    1st. Buffalo game

Can not remember any other games that are glaring. By problems I didn't meant his guy got 3 sacks in the game. As a LT all you need is one bad play in a game and boom a sack.

Ray Rice is better than Jones and Benson any day of the week. He seems to be getting better and better as the season progresses.

Stressing out over whether sports fans will vote for deserving athletes is a slow but surefire way of killing yourself.

He's a different type of back, he's more like Leon.

He's a local guy too, New Rochelle, NY and went to Rutgers.

Love me some Rice, not the A-Roni kind either.

Freeney got a sack against Miami... but it came against a TE, I believe Fasano.

He did give up one against Buffalo (which was his 3rd and final sack allowed this season)... but if you remember the play, Henne rolled right into Jake's block. Jake had his man walled off to the outside in good position outside the hashes... but Henne panicked a little bit in his first career start and tried to move away from some pressure from the right, and went straight into Jake. Jake didnt get "beat" on the play... even though his man got the sack...
