The green and white are beautiful IMO. No need for black. A new logo would be cool, but definitely not the one that was on that site.
the green looks like fackin turf. perfect...lets blend in with the grass. When was the last time you've seen a green jet? This isn't 1972.
The guy says "in lieu of the stadium, changes are in order". Like, instead of moving into the billion dollar stadium they just built, lets just add black to our uniforms. I think he meant to say, "In light of the new stadium". It's just funny, because he says he's a sportswriter.
So, you guys want F-22s to embody the speed and toughness of this team... If all the players are F-22s, what would Vernon Gholston be? A single engine bi-plane?
i agree. i like the clean classic look of the jets. simple clean green and white. goes great with various green and white sneakers, my car, and my money.
i beleive a new and improved fighter jet plane and more emphasis placed on jets as fast and furious fighting machines would be a promotional plus. right now when i think of the jets that movie comes to mind...with the singing and dancing. you know what im talkin about!!!
I hate the Beluga Whale Jet, looks like some Idlewild era Jet. I want the green oval to go back to a football shape.
those army uni's are badass. They should adopt those full time. I think we need to be open minded about uni changes. It's not like we would be ditching our traditional uni's, just offering an alternative. Like the retros, which have NOTHING to do with Jets green but people swoon over even though they suck ass and look more like the Rams.
Those designs are putrid. Revis should probably stick to locking down #1 receivers each week and leave fashion design others. The current Jets uniform is simply classic and highly stylish. The ONLY change should be to the socks on the road uniform. Instead of the all white sock with two green strips, they should go back to wearing the solid green at the top of the sock. (When they first went back to the "old school" unis in '98, they wore the socks im referring to).
The pictures on that helmet look like airplanes, not jets. We need some badass fighter jets if we're even to use them at all. I like the way the black looks, but it is too Eagle-ey.
As long as they have that black leather trim around the back pockets. lol Every time the SAAB commercial comes on I think of our team - Born from Jets.
I'm a fan of the Army Uniform as well. We should update it with more Jet Green, etc. I wonder how black and green digital camo would look.
Sorry, but that design is hideous. We would be the biggest laughingstock in the league as far as uniforms go.
