...has played a great couple of weeks since he came back into the starting lineup. Last week against the Panthers he held Mushin Muhammad to 1 catch for 2 yards. Sure he let up one long play in the beginning of the game but Evans is an elite WR and I was impressed that he at least got him down and prevented a TD. Lito shutting down his side of the field could have opened up some more throws Revis' way, which could be a reason he has 3 picks over the last 2 games; the ones Sheppard has played well in.
Very good game from Lito, He gave up that one long pass at the beginning of the game but shut it down after that.
He's getting the rust off. I've upgraded him to "serviceable." Hopefully, he climbs up to "dependable."
Good play tonight. I was impressed. I thought for sure he was going to give up a couple big plays and he didn't.
Lito's solid when he's healthy, he always has been. Having him back in the lineup certainly helps the defense.
Agree. Evans is about as tough a #2 as you're going to face. The 1st big play, though unfortunate, was actually pretty decent coverage. Shows you how small the margin for error is for an NFL CB. It was an absolute perfect throw and our blitz was picked up perfectly on that play. IMO can't expect a CB to shut that down 1-on-1 if you give a QB over 3 seconds and a nice pocket to throw from. His dropped potential INTs are what is killing me. He's had a few this season that could have made dramatic impacts to the tone of the game. I think we should keep him on if the pay doesn't break the bank. THis season has shown the need for 4 serviceable CBs.
I've been defending Lito since he's gotten here! The guy is a baller. That was a good play by Fitz & Reed and he stopped a TD after getting beat...after that ..Lights out! and to crucify the guy for not making a circus catch on an INT is a little overboard IMO
hes playin real well, and i have the feeling hes gonna get better as hes getting more playing time compared to philly
I said from day one that if Sheppard stays healthy he's a great option opposite Revis. The whole key is him staying healthy.

I've seen plenty of Lee Evans play over the years and he's no slouch. For Lito to pick up his game after getting burned once was outstanding. Maybe that's what Kerry Rhodes was doing all game - watching Revis and Sheppard, trying to get some insight on how to play football.
