I did not see a thread on this. Does anyone know if the Jets - Bills game will be on TV other than NFL network in the New York area next Thursday?
If it's on the NFL Network, that's very unlikely. I think they only open up the NFL Network games for special occasions such as Thanksgiving, or the Giants v. Patriots game at the end of the 2007 regular season.
It should be on one of the local channels. The Jets/Pats Thursday game last year was carried by one of them (CW11 I believe).
Yeah, in the markets of the two teams playing they put it on a local channel. I think it was on 11 last year, 9 or 11. Probably whatever it's on tonight.
yeah they have to show it in the local markets. that would be suicide for them to blackout the local markets because they are trying to create market pressure with nfl network. then again i put nothing past those cocksuckers. hey lets have an hour and 20 minute pre game even though we were supposed to start at 8 and we will have them put that on the local channel too... then we will show our camera guy looking at his feet and not know which 2 teams are playing. yeah nfl network you suck a fat one.
Carried on channel 9 or 11. Is anyone concerned that the short week will hurt them? I'm a little concerned.
Broncos played lights out last night. Was routing for the G-men but man, I was impressed by the Broncos. Just wanted to throw that out there.
