Carolina Panthers? Hump Day Prognostication (New York Jets edition) by James The Aussie - Nov. 25, 2009 > http://www.catscratchreader.com/2009/11/25/1173555/carolina-panthers-hump-day#storyjump
I don't agree with the edge given to the Panthers' run offense vs Jets' run defense. I think our run D will be strong. The Jets need to stick with our identity and RUN THE BALL. Unfortunately, I can't predict a win right now or for the rest of the season at this point for the Jets.
Why wouldn't you give the edge to Carolina in the Car rush O vs NYJ rush D? Our rush D has been spotty, and Carolina has the 3rd ranked rush O in the league. Their offense is very similar to ours. Both teams will gameplan to take away the run and make the opposing QB beat them. It's gonna come down to Delhomme vs Sanchez, whoever makes more plays will win their team the ballgame.
how many picks on Sunday until Rex feels so much heat hitting his ass,,,,that he HAS to give in and bench Sanchez?.....i say the magic # is 2
i see this game going to TOP. two strong running and relatively weak passing teams. Hold the ball by running it 40 times. Whoever has the better o-line that day will win the game.

can we stop with the "he's gunna get benched" bullshit. he has to have a Derek Anderson type day + 4 INTs to get benched. stop rooting for him to not do well just so you can scream SOJ. You Dopes.
hes not gettin benched this year.. and this is why.. everyone keeps sayin you have to bench this kid... recently i heard a comparison to Troy Aikman. Aikman played like shit and was benched for two games to show him that you if you play like shit your not going to play.. But that isn't going to work with sanchez.. because clemens in that bad. There is no saying that he won't got out and throw 3 INT himself.. and then what do you do.. sanchez just needs to keep playing .. its a rookie SEASON.. not the first few rookie games.. he is going to need time and thats what he is going to get.. Rex already has shown that if players aren't performing to the standards that he holds, he will bench them.. see kerry rhodes.. apparently he doesn't find benching sanchez fit.. so its not going to happen..
unless he throws back to back to back pick 6's.. sanchez isn't seeing the bench.. its not going to happen.
