I think this might be the first time in a long time that we go D-line in the 1st round... either that or guard to replace the aging Fanecca.

Any other thoughts on our most pressing need? Maybe Safety?

I'm pretty satisfied with our LBer corps at the moment so I don't know if we need to put much emphasis into that area, unless something falls in our laps.

    Thoughts?

Our inside backers are decent, but our OLBs are getting no pressure at all on the quarterback. A pass rusher is a pretty big need. None of our linebackers can cover for shit.

It'd be extremely smart for Tannenbaum to get a couple defensive linemen in this draft. The defensive line has little to no depth and our starters are OLD.

Safety is looking more and more like a need with each passing week, but 2010's draft has a shitload of talent at safety. We may be able to get a starting caliber safety prospect in the 3rd round.

Right now, I think the biggest needs are:

    1. Multiple 3-4 defensive ends
    2. A nose tackle to replace Big Jenks
    3. Right tackle
    4. Safety
    5. Both guard spots

Also, TGG has a draft forum for a reason. This thread probably belongs in it.

I think we must address the safety issue. Rhodes will not hit a soul. They do not fear going over the middle. Look at Welker! I also think we must start to look for fanecas replacement IF we think ROBERT TURNER or MATT SLAUSON can not do the job. I happen to think either one will step right in and do a good job. WOODY has got to be replaced soon too. HOWEVER, we must upgrade our passrush! To do so would help our secondary greatly. I do not like LOWERY or COLEMAN. Both should go!

Agreed on D. Coleman, but I think Lowery still has potential.

But yes, a competent NB would be a nice start.

Hotter cheerleaders. And Bernard Pollard to shred Brady's knee, again.

I think our biggest need is another 3-4 OLB. We need somebody who can really get after the QB. Pace is solid but Thomas can be replaced. Obviously you have the Gholston situation but who knows where that is headed.

Ellis is comming up on his final year. Douglas was only signed for this year. This draft is deep n heavy at D line. I see Jets needs as DL OL DL DB P KR. Brayon might get Leon's money. Ellis, I hope gets extended but we need to draft a replacement. Devito is a fine backup and Pouha looks to be getting there but youth at the DL is a need.

our biggest need is a replacement for jenkins. if the jets keep going down this path they will be in nice position to make a play for mount cody.
