if we didn't have all the injuries? just wondering! I'm sure this may have been posted already but I didn't see it.

They would've invented a way to look into the past to see how thing would have ended up if one or more events had not turned out the way they did.

I actually think its an interesting question-i dont know if you remember-but many people had us projected to the SB-it was our season-we had a veteran offense and an emerging defense-i thought we could have been pretty good

Pennington was still not throwing right, Not to mention half of the team was nervous and scard. Like Coles when he just dropped that pass that could of been a TD.

We would have signed Maurice Clarett and won 8 super bowls.

We were picked to go to the afc championship so i think we probably would have done that if not better

Okay, so if we don't have all of the injuries does that mean that Herm doesn't bat his eyelashes at Kansas City for the entire season?

I think we would have been around 9-7 or 10-6 (pending on chad)

then the herm thing to KC might have not happened like aby said.

Would that also mean that every other team had no injuries? I think we would need to equate that, as well, and having said that, I feel we would have been our usual 10-6 team with a possible win in the PO's but I don't know if the SB would have been in our cards. AFC Champ. game, at best, I feel.

minus injuries, Pitt, Cincy, NE, Denver and Indy are still better than the Jets. It wasn't just injuries, it was conditioning, preparation and age that did this team in. That team missed its best chance two years ago against Pitt.

9-7 at best. They just weren't a great team.

I agree. 10 wins wouldn't be unrealistic. And , I think, we could have won a PO game if everything fell into place but not go to the SB.

We still would have finished behind the Dolphins, missed the playoffs, and Herm still would have jumped ship. The team was really not that good, injuries or not. People look at the KC game like it was just a bad game. Even without injuries, the team was completely unprepared for the season. Partly due to having a head coach who didn't really care to coach here past 2005.
