this is a team that can beat anybody and lose to anybody way moreso than most teams in the NFL. there have never been any "gimme's" with this team. a characteristic of recent years of all teams i root for...knicks, jets, mets sigh. FML
I hope with a top 10, he is not the position we look to replace. The DL and OL need to be a priority.
Don't be a jerk. Come to our board and post w/ respect. People seem to forget that most NFL games are close and the difference btw a 10-6 team and a 6-10 is a few plays here or there. We very easily could be 7-2 but we are 4-5. There's not a team we can't beat on the sched but we can lose to any team as well.
I don't mean to disrespect. I apologize. It just seems to me, that most everyone here understands (or at least should) the "Any given Sunday" thing. I guess i just didn't feel it helped the post. It was like, trying to point out the obvious. Again I apologize, and will keep my quips to a minimum. The only obvious thing I see is a lack of adjustments, that we were fairly good at towards the beginning of the year.
I apologize too. I'm cooled down but not as cool as I should be 2 hours after the game. I know what I wrote is obvious but people that think we should beat certain teams and should lose to certain teams should just sit back and let the games play out. Logically there's no way we should win next week but that's just the type of game we probably will win then we'll come back home and lose to carolina.
You are correct. That is how this team seems to roll. I think the CS puts too much emphasis on one opponent, and fails to prepare correctly for some. Rex had the jawing about the Pats early in camp, and against Chowder before the Phins game. He prepared well for the Pats and so-so against the Phins. I feel if the CS would cncentrate on a cosistent game plan for allo of our opponents we may be sitting better than 4 and 5.
LOL good point...bench Lito Shappard to make sure that doesnt become a #2. That would be a fucking travesty
Why is it that it looks so easy for Pats to win games and not for JETS? I meant we have more talented players on our team than the Pats do. Pats lose a lot of good coaching staffs and yet they are still winning. We spend a lot of money, but we are still losing ? WHY ?
Sheppard needed to be on the field for 85% of the snaps for that to happen. As of right now, he's on pace to play less than 40%.
