    Actually, Pittsburgh has been using Titletown since the 70's...

    Didn't mean to strike a nerve. It's just a silly nickname (that I didn't bring up originally), much like America's team etc...

    Sorry, one of my best friends has been using the term for Boston lately and it grates me. We had this debate back in April when he told me Boston had a great shot at 4 championships over 4 seasons this year. So far, 0 - 3. I can assure you, the frustration here was more with the OP.
