Look, rookie QB, rookie HC, Brand new defence, No Cotchery for 3 games, no jenkins, no leon, I am pleased with 4-4, we have a chance for 10-6 or 11-5, I think we get better after the bye...... Jac (win), Pats (50/50), Panthers (win), Bills (win), Bucs (win), atlanta (win), Colts (50/50), Bengals (50/50)

Fuck Mangini. He isn't our coach and no one wishes he was still here, why are we still talking about him?

lol the jets have zero, 100% chance of win games....haven't you ever seen them play. In fact id say this is more accurate. Jac (50/50), Pats (50/50), Panths (50/50), Bills (50/50), etc, we are the least consistent team ever.

What if Mike Tannenbaum was our coach? I think our record would be 3-5.

It's funny because I live in Atlanta and right now they're going through their own come-to-Jesus meetings trying to map out the rest of their season after last night's loss to the Saints, and folks have put the Jets game easily in the "win" column for them as well. I guess we'll see soon...man what I'd give to be able to go to NY and watch that..

Well, since we'd also have Peyton Manning and Jerry Rice and Walter Payton, we'd be at LEAST 10-0 through 8 games

I think for the long haul, we are in good shape, but I wish Rex would go on Nutri-system or Jenny, or something...................

If Mangini was coach we'd have Kellen Clemens, Brett Ratliff and Erik Ainge playing "no, you take it - I insist" with the starting QB job along about now. We'd be 1-7, just like the Browns are and we'd be firing him and probably Tannenbaum too during the bye week.

Seriously, what's happening in Cleveland right now is not all about talent. It's about Eric Mangini being a poor motivator with rigid and bad defensive schemes that not even the Patriots personnel could make work right. He got lucky last year when Favre came to town or he would have been fired by the bye week last year.

no one is "high" on Atl, you just said it yourself, being on par just means that that game doesn't fall into the 100% win for the Jets category, thats all.

hell, the _Bills_ game doesn't fall into that category after that atrocious game a few weeks back...

Remember you are talking about the Jets. No game is a lock win. One game we'll beat the Vikings, and the next week we'll lose to the Rams.

So, Ms. Cleo, what would our record be at the end of the season if Mangini was coach?

If Kotite were Head Coach, we would be 0-9 after 8 games
