    9. Justin Blalock, OT, Texas: While Jonathan Scott earned most of the headlines, Texas coaches will tell you that the most talented Longhorn offensive lineman last year was Blalock. Has started all 38 games during his career, all at right tackle. Has earned Big 12 accolades after each of his three seasons.

Next years draft pick... Unless we end up with the first pick, then it has to be Quinn. Unfortunately, I don't see us being in the top 3... top 10 yes, but not top 3.

More likely a fit at guard. And I dont know that it would be wise to invest that much $$ up front either- not saying the line is important, but we have to be well-rounded. Id prefer Jake Long in the 2nd round.

Next year Id like the pick to be either WR's Calvin Johnson or Dwayne Jarrett...or RBs Adrian Peterson or Marshawn Lynch (check the av)

It would be a tough sell to go Offensive Line for the second year in a row. Next year we will most likely be going after a running back.

I think Adrian Peterson is going to jump to the NFL next year. He will factor into the top 20 for sure.

Is the reason he's not mentioned because he'll be a junior this year? If he keeps up last season's form he really should go number 1 in the draft, depending of course on the performance of certain QB's through the season.

There is no way you can project anything this far from the draft and that includes the best players in the draft. Just remember-if we have a need in next years draft-we have the amunition to move anywhere in it

I would be a very happy Jet fan with either.....

    Peterson
    Calvin Johnson
    Jarrett

BUT on the otherhand that means we miss the playoffs again and have had a bad year....

I agree. If we picked Blaylock I doubt we would be able to resign him, Mangold and D'brickshaw in a few years when their contracts run up.

We need a RB and a WR next year.
