Here's some more draft praise... "In Ferguson they get a tremendous blind-side pass protector, while Mangold is an intelligent offensive line leader. Oregon quarterback Kellen Clemens was a great second-round choice. He's an accurate thrower with strength and mobility who probably would've left the board in the first round if not for last season's injury..." The rest of the article is here
I found the whole article to be boring and full of draft talk that means nothing. Our 6th round TE was a Belichick pick? C'mon. Doom drafts much more productive TE's than Posciak. He is nothing like Watson or Graham. Why can't these "experts" write something original or at least accurate? I can't give the Jets an "A" b/c they flunked the 3rd round and had a so-so second day.
:rofl2: On Point!!! Couldn't agree more. Is it only me, or does anyone else have a problem reading a full article once the 1st line is FOS?? I read the rest but don't take it serious. The Media Sucks.
I was talking about the pros. Don't hate me because you have the worlds largest man crush for Adrian Jones. You are still the man...(Just messing around)
I was talking about his switch in the pros...He was TE at college, RT in the pros, then LT. Then I made a crack at you being in love with Jones and I said I still have mad love for ya.
That's actually not what happened at all. The intention was to move Jones to left tackle early in the season, but they decided he was better suited for right tackle. Then Fabini got hurt, and tried to play through it, with limited success. They figured Fabini's injury would not be as much of an issue on the right side, and they flopped for a short time. Then when Fabini went down, Jones was moved to left tackle. Jones struggled because it was his first year as a starter. There is no greater difficulty in playing right tackle than there is in playing left tackle. As I have stated numerous times, the days of the 300 pound defensive end are pretty much over. It is far more desirable to have an athletic offensive line than it is to have a big powerful one. If anything, Jones speed and year of experience at left tackle will make him a far better right tackle. Additionally, I have no doubt that this coaching staff, unlike the previous debacle of a staff, will have this team ready at the end of training camp. -X-
RT is important-but not nearly as important as LT so as long as we solidified that in the draft im fine and hopefully Jones can hold his own at RT
Jones Was A Rt In College And Was Only Put Into The Left Side When Fabini Couldnt Stop A Cribbled Old Lady Form Sacking Our Qb's
