    Addressing Offense

We should look not to next year but to the future(3 YEARS FROM NOW). Our Reconstruction starts now. Our first thing to do is get d'brick and Max-Jean Gilles. Trade Mawae and get Lecharles Bently. Now we've made progress (three young linemen).

we then release Kendall and others for the cap

This is what we need to begin the reconstuction era. O line is the foundation

    Addressing Defense

Next step trade Abe and 3rd to detriot for Shaun "Big Baby" Rodgers and detriots 2nd round pick.

Draft Carpenter with that pick and run the 3-4. Drob, Rodgers, Ellis, Carpenter, Vilma, Hobson, Barton

Now for those who keep talking about drafting a qb, "pennington is done" Stop! Give the boy a chance. Remember we are on a reconstruction program. If he messes up next season, then we could talk about addressing a qb next draft. As far as I am concern, Brady Quinn will be the best QB next year and Guess what, the teams that most likely will be back in the top 5 next year will be Houston, Tenn., Greenbay, Cleve., san Fran and they all have Qb's which means we can then negotiate to get him.

Next year I say we address QB,RB CB, and WR

    08 SS, TE, CB

Remember who cares what happens next season, we should get our needed players now and be a superbowl contender team for the future. "ROME WAS NOT BUILD IN A DAY"

Rodgers is untradeable, he signed an extention this year

I like the plan but it is very unrealistic. Bentley is not going to be cheap.

If you want to make a playoff run in 2004, you have to get the QB this year. 8 to 16 games carrying the clipboard, 2007 to get playing time and experience, and make a run in 2008. Draft the RB in 2007. Rebiuld the O line now..... after getting a franchise QB to develop.

I've debated this before, but now I'll just go on record as thinking DRob would fail as a DE in the 3-4.

    I would love it.

But it's never happening... the Lions aren't moving Shaun Rodgers.
