Or the Yanks could be like Microsoft, living off of past greatness and shoving new "improved" BS in your face and telling you its good as it always was..
I think that describes the Mets a lot more than it does the Yanks. New manager, new "stars", new latin players, new overpriced, injury prone washed up players, same golf courses being played in October. But hey, they're not the Yankees so that has to count for something.
So all that you care about is seeing a good game, but you would stop rooting for the Mets if they spent money? Say what you want about the Yankees, but all the walkoffs make for some pretty great games. Also, how do you justify the fact that the Mets have by far the largest payroll in the NL? It's a problem for you that the Yankees spend so much, but not that the Mets outspend some of their division rivals by $100 million?
Well MS hasn't made a good OS since Windows 2000, the Yanks haven't won shit since 2000. Yet both think they are on top of the world and everyone should bow down.
You, sir, are a liar. So you must be a big fan of that Game 7 from the 2006 NLCS, huh? That was a hell of a game.
That was a good game. Only douche Yankee fans consider only winning RINGZ!!!11!!!! a true measure of success. That is why the Yanks must fail.
You sir, are an idiot...how is success in baseball measured then? Profits? Number of All-stars? Moral victories? Please explain to me what the measure of success is
And that takes priority over actually winning the game, right? That loss didn't bother you and your buddy up there because you guys were just happy to see an exciting game, right? Maybe they should just give every team a World Series trophy every year. They all tried hard, after all.
I bothered me right after it happened of course, but I pretty much immediately looked back at what a great season that was.
