More details on Edwards trade regarding pick compensation

Judging by Rex?s comments after the game. ?Sanchez has to much on his plate, we are going to take some off? indicates to me that the Jets are going to go to back to a ball control offense.

Once Sanchez?s go to guy Cotchery is back Edwards won?t be seeing all that many balls a game. It won?t be a second

 

does he have to 55 catches for the jets or is that including his catches with the browns?

For the next week (after a win), no. Its not bad to hope he doesnt reach 55.

 

In his best year he averaged 5 catches a game which would work out to 60 over 12 games.
With 9 games to go and 46 catches to go I don't think there is ant way he gets it especially since it looks like we will be running a bit more and Cotch should be coming back.
