I just heard on NFL Radio that the game is not going to be aired locally. I guess this won't influence the airing of the game in other markets, but for guys like me it might hurt the streaming options...
lol, I knew it. I am going to be at the game but none of my raiders fan friends want to go watch the game. It's kinda sad.
Does this mean that it just won't be played in the Oakland market, or will it affect the NY market as well? I don't know the blackout rules very well
FFS, guess this will be the first game I'm going to miss in a while as workable streams are probably going to be nearly impossible to find. Fuck.
I know and they still have a SB app this decade I remember that Sunday Nighter in 2000 in week 15 at Oak, that was their first non-blackout all year and that team would eventually host the AFC Title Game.
I wouldn't buy Raiders tickets if I were a Raiders fan. I would be boycotting the team until Al Davis either dies or loses control of the team.
lol... i have a friend who's a Raiders fan and I basically tell him the same thing ALL the time! Al Davis is killing that team.
I usually pick up games at this site. I'll be watching Miami or Jets game on TV at 4pm and then the game that isn't broadcast on this site. http://atdhe.net/ Hope it helps.
I'd black out every weekend if I were a Raiders fan. actually I'd get a fan club to pool money and put a hit on Al Davis. that organization is a physical reflection of his own condition. crippled yet blindly enthused and tired by noon.
And I can't blame em. Oakland's stadium is a shithole in a lousy place. Candlestick was kind of tight actually, great atmosphere, decent people. Stadium shows its age though.
There were talks that Oakland and SF may go into a stadium together. They are both in the works of getting a new stadium.
