I do not know if this was already posted but Darrelle Revis is on the cover on this magazine at: http://www.6magazineonline.com/2009/10/6magazine-october-issue-2/ I also just wanted to give more respect to my favorite JET player because he always preforms well and is never a distraction to this team!!! One cool fact about Revis that I do not think may people know about is that In his high school state championship game he led his team to come from behind to win 32-27 by scoring 5 touchdowns including 3 rushing touchdowns, a punt return, and the return of a blocked field goal attempt. He also completed a 39 yard pass, had a reception, and an interception in the game. To do that in a state championship game is INSANE!!!! and just shows you want type of player he is!! REVIS IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
well the one play where he got beat by ted ginn they said revis passed him off because he thought rhodes was going to cover him
Rhodes was covering Camarillo on that play and had no chance to catch up to Ginn's speed. Revis's fault.
Where did you find this? It certainly looked like Revis wasn't responsible for the inside, but I'd still have to assume that he needs to cover the deep stuff as well... I think Rhodes was going to take him if Ginn runs a post or something but you'd have to think that Revis was more in charge of that deep streak than Rhodes would be.
you may be right but rhodes is right next to revis when ginn makes the catch, its hard to tell if rhodes came off of Camarillo after Henne threw it
This is what they said on Jets Extra point, they didn't specifically say that they said thats what happened but they did say that is what might of happened
If you watch later in the game when they're showing Henne's protection, they use the Ginn play with a better camera angle. You can CLEARLY see Rhodes covering Camarillo on a cross route until Camarillo crosses to the right side of the field, at which point he rotates over to help Revis with Ginn. This is fact.
