obviously we hate seeing the team lose at any time.. but did the loss to the dolphins where our offense looked good and the defense was pathetic bother you more, or todays pathetic showing by the offense and the defense was pretty good.. Too me the loss to the fins and watching them go up and down the field at will on us bothered me more.. I rather lose in a low scoring defensive battle then the defense get ripped to shreds
If it was one or the other I'd say the dolphins game hurt worse. But since this loss came after the loss to Miami this one hurts much worse. After the loss to Miami I still had the feeling that this was just a fluke game and we are still in good shape. After this loss I'm afraid we might even lose to the fucking RAIDERS next week. This loss also hurts now because we are in pretty bad shape in divisional play. The dolphins game should have lit a goddamn fire under this team but they played really energyless against the bills. But who know maybe this loss will be the game that lights the fire.
I agree...after the Dolphins game, this one was a must-win. And for the offense to come out and play like that in a game this big - pathetic.
the thing is I cant sit here and say they didnt play with a lot of life.. When you run the ball for 300 yards your offensive line is doing some serious work.. The defense for the most part did a nice job.. You cant help it when your qb throws 5 picks..
This loss reminds me of the loss in Oakland last year. Losing in OT against an inferior opponent with absolutely nothing going for them except for the fact that they happen to be playing the Jets. Same pathetic, miserable, sinking, fetid feeling.
The dolphins lost hurt a lot more for me. I hate the dolphins 100X more than the bills. In the dolphins game, the defense was given every chance to win the game. In the bills game, we gave the bills every chance to win the game (O and ST).
This game hurt more, for whatever reason. The Bills are a CFL level team. We were playing against their backup QB. The Bills made so many mistakes all over the field, practically begging us to win the game, and we couldn't oblige.
You people are crazy. This game hurt multiple times more than the Dolphin game. That game was on the road and the Jets were just beaten by a team that played better. Today's HOME game against a terrible team was just given away in an unbearable manner. The Jets could have survived last week's loss and made the playoffs. Today's loss ended the Jets playoff run. If you lose to a better team, so be it. When you hand an obviously inferior team a win in your stadium, that is unacceptable. The Dolphin loss was bad. Today's loss was sickening.
How are they crazy, this is a purely subjective question. Today's loss ended the playoff run? Wow. They're one game out of a playoff spot.
This game hurt more. Even disregarding the circumstances, which are considerable when two weeks ago, we were the toast of the AFCE. The Miami loss was stomachable in that we played hard. The O looked good, although rookie QB mistakes doomed the outcome, the D played completely out of character. It was much easier to say, hey the D will be back...and they WERE. To have been able to play to a tie at the end of regulation after committing 6, six, yes SIX turnovers means that our D is for real. The O, however, and Sancho in particular, showed just how far we really are from being contenders.
