No matter how this game ends, I think it's obvious that it's going to take a lot longer than we thought for this team to be a playoff contender. Actually, it's not that far off from what I figured before the season, but I was snowed by the first few games.
the team has been far worse these last three games than they were great the first three, so clearly they were never as good as we thought they were. that doesn't mean they are awful, it just means that they still have work to do to be a top team. but the potential is still obvious to me.
Totally agree with everything you said. Coaching decisions have baffled me the most. The timeouts last week, not punting in OT this week. Embarrasing stuff.
Its obvious Sanchez has taken a knock confidence wise, but give it a while for him to get it back, its probably going to take the rest of the season to find his groove but he will.
