we made excuses for Pennington too. seems that some players are given every opportunity to win and others get dumped on without the same set of excuses being made for them.

If he is so inexperienced he should be 0 and 5. He isn't and we in no way should make excuses for a loss that should never have happened and won't happen! ( Bills) I am glad that you like SANCHEZ but I love the Jets more then him. This is a team game based on wins ; not excuses! He is getting paid to win, regardless of his experience. Brady was thrown in due to an injury and won. No excuses were made by his fans. He was expected to win and did! Big Ben did too. So did Ryan and Flacco! Lets stop with built in negativity and demand a winner!

Trent Edwards is a very mediocre quaterback. In fact, "slouch" isn't such a bad term afterall . . .

You bring on a good point KJ. The kid was brought in to do his job as a starter. No excuses. I don't see myself as a pessimistic fan at all, I've just been around long enough to know there are no automatic wins. My point of view is this, no matter what happens, Sanchez will lose us some games. He already has. With any and every loss, the fans that keep crying SOJ are the ones NDmick should have directed that comment towards.

I fully expect a win every time the Jets step on the field.

@NDmick, search through all my posts and you will not find one where I cry SOJ or presume to be a darksider. Sorry.

Sanchez has all the tools and can make all the throws. The jets have their QB.
Let the kid grow up. His best playing days are 2-8 years down the road.

So, we're talking 2011 thru 2017? Why do I get the feeling that when 2017 gets here, we'll be talking 2025..

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that the Jets will make the SB before Man lands on the Moon again..
