Try "Curb Man" at TNPK Exit 16W. Just after you exit the TNPK there are phone booths on the righthand side. There'a guy there who I've always called "Curb Man"... he hangs out waving tickets and flagging down cars. The State Police harrass him but he always seems to be there. He'd surely have a couple of seats on a day like this and maybe he's even got a Parking Pass.
okay i'm probably going to try and see if i can find the phone booths. if anyone else has ideas, definitely let me know
I'm bumping this thread in honor of this Sunday's game against the Bengals. Don't worry about the fact that this is a "huge" game and will determine whether the Jets make the playoffs. Don't worry that this is the last game at the Meadowlands. There will be tickets available for much less than face in the parking lot. Just follow the instructions in my original post and good luck. I hope to see a sea of green on Sunday night and I'm gonna try to make it there to be with you all. If I can make it out, I will be showing up to the game without tickets and won't be worried about getting some on the cheap right before the game.
Look for "Curb Man" at the phone booths. You don't even have to worry about being in the parking lot to scrounge for tickets. But if Curb Man is not there (he will be), then go to the parking lot as Namath says, and scrounge some more. Someone will be there with tickets.
Thought I'd revive this bad boy just to see if anything has changed for this coming year. I'm hoping to make one Jets home game this year (I'm about 7 hours away) and I was wondering if finding cheap tickets will be any different this year with the new stadium, PSLs, etc. I figure it'll be a little too expensive to make it to a division game (maybe not?) specifically Dolphins or Pats. I was thinking that I might shoot for the Texans or Packers game. I was thinking I could get a lower level seat for these games as cheap as an upper level for the division games. Because I'm coming from out of town, I'd rather have a ticket in hand than to wait until I get there and potentially get stuck with a shitty seat. I'd rather pay a little more for this convenience. I did Stubhub last year. I was happy with it, but I probably overpaid a little. Will it still be easy to get a good seat the day of the game for a good price at the stadium?
