is it just me or does it seem like any time this guy gets anywhere near the qb hes held by two guys and its never called.
indeed i noticed it at least twice last night. not to say we didnt get some calls either, but maybe one day they can just get it right both ways.
Well, in all fairness, it must be tough on the refs. If you're on one side of Kris Jenkins, you're not gonna see the other the side of him or the lineman on the other side of him, let alone a hold.
There was one extremely blatant one that was on a crucial third down. In fact it may have been on the drive when Henne threw the TD to Ginn. There was also an extremely obvious one on Revis where a WR was up under his shoulder pad and grabbing the inside of his jersey. They even showed it close up and I was baffled how the officials missed it as it was so obvious. People will say the PI or the Wilson play weren't penalties and maybe they weren't in slow motion but at full speed they were both definitely not bad calls.
There was a hold on the Ginn td and the play before the td on Jenkins. There was also a clip on the ricky willliams 60yd screen pass in the first or second qtr. It doesn't matter though it evened out with some calls for us. ie Pass interference edwards.
Yeah, PI call. Big deal right? The defender did touch him on that play. Maybe not enough to cause Braylon to miss the catch, but he did touch him and that is not allowed. Whatever. How about the TD that Braylon had and they challenged it. Refs didn't see conclusive evidence but still turned it over. Yeah we scored, but still. How about the intentional grounding? We had a WR in the direction of the pass and Sanchez was going down when he threw it. Do refs expect him to be perfect on that pass? How about the 2nd down intentional grounding by Henne at the end? No WR in the vicinity and he wasn't outside the pocket. You can argue, but he was very close to being outside the pocket.
The non intentional grounding was BOGUS considering they called Sanchez for one when he throw to the left of his receiver. Henne had no one even close.
Holding happens EVERY down on the interior line.........it's a part of the game basically. The only time it is illegal is if it is caught. Any game, any week you can watch the linemen play and SOMEONE is holding.
Amen, I came on here to see what was being said from a Jest fan perspective and I'm seeing pretty much what I expected. A bunch whining and bitching about the BS penalties and non calls. It went BOTH ways. We just kicked their ass and not many of these Jest fans will admit it. Kudos to the ones that do admit it. The Fins aren't the sorry ass soft team they thought. We can actually hit someone in the mouth and back it up. Now with Henne being able to stretch the field, the Fins have to be accounted for!!
Yeah, and most people have acknowledged that. Looking at this thread won't give you that answer. Though Jenkins was held a lot, you can't blame the refs in this one. And I don't think anyone is.
nobody here is saying it cost us the game just observing that this has been happening all season and im tired of it. go blow marc anthony.
here's a tidbit of info that may shock the shit out of you.......EVERYONE HOLDS IN THE NFL. good offensive linemen don't get caught. there isn't a single game in any football game anywhere in the world where there isn't some holding that doesn't get caught.
On one play in the 4th qtr i was goin nuts becuz he was held bad and they didnt call it and it turned out to be a first down after a third down.
