the jets did pretty well by parcells. i don't like the dolphins but i have no ill will toward the tuna.
When the WC is used by other teams (including the Jets who ran one play from it) it is a trick play or "gimmick" as some of you call it. It is very much a part of the Dolphins offense and will continue to be until defenses can stop it. Our OL is much improved and the threat to throw is very real. It's not so easy to defend just by sticking 8 in the box.
Why dp ypu guys only focus on the Wildcat... Henne threw for 240 yds and 2 TD with 0 int 0 sacks etc... I think he owned us a little too right?
That's weird... I'm pretty sure I read on here recently that you had the best D in the league? But yes. Edwards is going to do some great things for your team. No doubt about it.
out-coached! they were ready for the D.we had no answer, Edwards was amazing, never seen him live until yesterday. can't blame sanchez either.....he sucked in the first half but he definately didn't lose it.
That is a debateable statement. The offense didn't lose this week. We were saved by penalties. Real PI's calls, bad PI calls, whatever. If PI wasn't called on the Edwards play, would he have caught it anyway? He has a history as everyone knows. Hell, he dropped one in pregame just as Gruden was talking about his dropped passes. My point is, the O looked better than last week, but we never came out with an authoritative drive.
Your right, That's all I heard all week long is how bad our D was going to kill the Dolphins. I sat back I couldn't believe hearing that is was going to be a blow out. It's a division game.
Jones is worthless and so is Washington. I hope the Jets have pulled that offer backt for good. Dump them both after this year and find a real RB in the draft.
I aint going to argue with you here. It was your night and what impressed me most about the fish is they kept coming back with high intensity which we didn't match. Why some Jets fans thought that this was going to be easy is beyond me. Miami has a serious ground game on both sides of the ball. We better sadlde up because these next 2 games are going to be brutal.
Honestly I gained a lot of respect for the Dolphins offense yesterday. They WERE the most impressive offense we've seen this season so far. I hope Rex comes up with a revenge package for 3 weeks from now.
Come on. They both had more yards on the Fins that just about any other RB this year, well except for Michael Turner. (who only had 68 yards in 22 carries - 1 less than Washington and Jones combined.)
