I am not saying he is not to blame. That whole defense was pathetic tonight. Absolute disgrace. But for YOU to not see some of the amazing things he did tonight to singlehandedly preventing that game from being a total blowout is utterly disturbing. Even the greats have their lapses.
Maybe Lito and Donald should suit up. Lowry is good for what he is, a nickel back, not a number 2 cb.
I'm an idiot but everyone gloats when he shuts someone down but when he doesn't you defend him...he gave up a 3rd and long first down...missed a tackle for a 1st down...and gave up a TD...not a shut down corner tonight...
It's very simple. The middle linebackers made excellent reads and stopped the wild cat at the line of scrimmage. For us, Bart Scott was over-aggressive, over-pursued, and missed a lot of tacklers. David Harris stood still and waited for the play to develop, which you cannot do against the wild cat. By the time he knew what to do, he was being blocked 5 yards down the field. Harris and Scott need to do a better job of reading and tackling.
Ted Ginn may be a below average WR but he has as good straight line speed as anyone in the NFL. Miami was lining up a big offensive front and shoving it down our throats all night. It's hot and humid and the CB were pulled up going against TE all night on the line running into the second level all night. It's not easy to be sucked up and takeing a pounding from line man and TE all game and not get beat over the top by a guy with world class speed. The Dolphins executed their game plan when that happens guys get beat.
Its just one game. It was the WC that killed us. Not the end of the world man. This loss is on the D and it should teach them and Rex a lesson. Last wk it was on the Offense. Offense played excellent this wk. Maybe next wk Jenkins will Jerk off in the face of Edwards.
Special teams is why this wasnt a blowout and not Revis...two fake punts for 1st downs that led to points..not him making plays....sorry just calling it like it is!
Wow you are fucking retarded. Revis isn't a shutdown corner becasue he gave up one TD throughout 5 games of a season? For all we know that could've been Rhodes' fault and not Revis'. Revis is a top 2 corner in the league.
Through all the negative, we found out Edwards is here to ball up and Clowney can catch the ball in the regular season.
Well after week 5 the NFL has none...if he makes a play and stops the TD then yes but come on he shut down 3 great WRs but let a shitty one burn him twice....(the TD and the first down on 3rd & long) To me that is not a shut down corner.
I gotta hand it to you guys. You guy's have got the BEST excuses in the fucking world. Keep it up!!! ( I know you all can't feel that way)
Top 2 but everyone around here says he's the best and can cover anyone....his jock strap is still sitting on the field from the TD play
Most shut down corners aren't asked to provide run support against Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams with an OL in your face all night either.
