Hey buddy, just so you know I know your lying, they annouced his name first, not his position.

 

Ignore all that JET FAN bashing. I, too, was a bit upset. Mainly because I felt we should have gone in a diff. direction. Having said that, I,too(again), have had time to let it grow on me. What you have to realize is that, although it would have been nice for once to have one of those players that other teams will have to game plan around, we REALLY needed OL help. Last year was embarassing and painful for the fans(and team). What we need to do is just hope that in the end we all get what we are really hoping for, WINS. And TITLES.

 

I'll be honest with you this Leinart love is driving me crazy. Seriously now. We got the 2 best OLinemen in their respective positions in this draft. Guys that will be with us for atleast 5 years. You build your team through the line then work your way out. We can't get anywhere if there are no hole for our RB's or protection for our QB's (ask David Carr).

At first i was really upset that we didn't trade to get Bush. Then I was upset that we didn't take Leinert. Now that i've thought about it,i was upset that we didn't take overhyped players just for the sake of ther names. I think with the first 3 picks,we did great. Brick and mangold were great choices and we had a smart successful draft. I don't know much about the QB,but from what i've been hearing,we got a steal.

 

Noone cares!! Leinart isnt gonna be anything special so go cry somewhere else.

 

We simply had to get OL in this draft. We are going to be a better team for doing what we did. Brick and Gold are going to be a huge part of our success for a long time.
