He was a great pickup, and I think he is going to be a stud just because it was the pick for herm. Wouldn't that be something? He has alot of talent, he will have a great future with the NYJ, especially with our o-line.

I like the pick, but I also feel bad for Blaylock. He never really got his chance here due to the injury. With Martin/Houston filling the role of primary back, and Leon likely stepping in as a 3rd down back, Blaylock's days here look numbered.

Oh man, I'm dying, because I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw this thread. At least he wasn't the steal of the draft.

Leon Washington isn't going to make something out of nothing, but with a strong OL, I think that he just might be good. I mean, he's a talented player, small but compact enough to be worth a tough tackle, shifty and can make moves, I mean he's got a lot of potential and at certain times, he could've been considered a first or second round back.

RB's can be found out of no where. Recent example, wasn't Samkon Gado from Green Bay undrafted?

Jordan was big and powerful-but explosive, Washington is small and relies more on his speed and doesnt see holes as well as Lamont does

This kid is a good back. Hes an explosive runner who has a lot of playmaking ability which would be great for our RB situation.

Reminds me of Julius Jones. Maybe thats why we picked him? The other one he reminds me of is Ki-Jana Carter. Now that was a short dude.

I dont think he will be nothing more than a third down back. We passed up on Jerome Harrison, who has produced better than Washington and has better size. Harrison also had a awesome senior bowl has well.

Washington will never be able to carry a full load as well. He also has a lot of things to prove running through tackles as well.

I didnt like the pick but I will be rooting for him.

I just love that Houston and Washington had and have a chance to play with curtis. Because he is the epotime of work ethic and teacher. And I believe that curtis plays the game of football not for the money but for the love of the sport. but thats just me

We could start bouncing random questions off of him, like a Wrong Answer Oracle.

You know what? I just realized I said Johnson. How utterly uncool of me.

I like the Washington pick, but I'm HOPING that Clemens turns out to be the best pick.

Oh and since most of you never watched Washington play. I can vouch for his crazy ability to shake tackles and break free from 2/3 tackles multiple times in a game (sometimes back to back). He has way more talent than Houston and Blayloc combined.

He was a good pick, but based on needs our first 3 picks were the best. washington can be the 4th best on our draft, i only say that because we have a guy like that on our roster already in blaylock.
